What i have read so far makes me feel sad because this little boy had to be separated from his mother and he had no father so we had to live with his aunt who is in a wheelchair. and 6 years later on his birthday his aunt tells him that his mother is coming to visit. he dose not know if he really wants to see her again. After his mother comes to visit she wants him to live with her but the little boy dose not want to. The next day his aunt had a heart attack and died so he was forced to live with his mother again. One thing i wonder about this book is how this little boy's life will be after his aunt dies and his life living with his mother who use to beat and burn him. I wonder if he will be able to have a normal life or having his life stay the same and accept that his aunt the only person who really cared about him died. I would most want to be like the little boys aunt because she was very caring towards him and she was the only one who really wanted to help the little boy become a normal person after what his mother had done to him. She never was mean to him or hurt him like his mother was and she tried her best to make this little boy's life be amazing. |

I totally understand what you mean, I would hate to be that boy right now. He had an unstable life till he was three and then went to his aunts house which changed his life dramatically. But now since his aunt died I don't know what will happen, if he will suffer or if his mother really did change her life for him. I also think his life is changing, I mean basically new family. He went from having two people in his family, including himself to having a sister, mom, and dad. He suffered enough being taken away from his mom to burning his house down, is it really far that his aunt dies too? And his mother claimed she was ready for him but is she really ready to take care of him again, i mean he barley even remembers her.
